“We will open our PAC meeting on Feb 26th, 2019, at 6:30pm with a presentation from Mr. Brumwell on virtual reality (VR) with immersive 360 imagery and interactive video with Social Studies Department Head, Craig Brumwell; Test drive the PAC funded VR Google Expeditions class set of VR head sets for yourself.
Craig Brumwell has been teaching at Kitsilano since 1988 where he is the Social Studies Department Head. He has Bachelor of Physical Education (UBC), a Bachelor if Fine Arts (Emily Carr U) and a Master of Educational Technology (UBC). He is a recipient of 3 national awards for teaching excellence: the Prime Minister’s Award (2018), the Governor General’s History Award (2015), and the Government of Canada History Award. Mr. Brumwell was also the co-chair of the Kitsilano Centennial Celebration last May. “
